Renting the Grange Hall

Our hall is an ideal location for many types of events. It comprises three main spaces:

Main Hall

Our main hall which has a hardwood floor is approximately 2,400 sq. ft. (60 x 40) and has a small (10 x 15) stage. The walls are lined with folding theater seats.

Kitchen

Our kitchen has a four burner commercial stove with large griddle and two ovens, commercial refrigerator, dishwasher and available at an extra cost plates, cups, tableware and chafing dishes. Separated from the kitchen by a counter is a 800 sq. ft (40 x 20) eating area which easily accommodates 30 to 40 people.

Back Room

Connected to the kitchen is our 700 sq. ft. back room which is often used for overflow dining or just as another meeting space.

Basic Rental Rates

Below are our basic rental rates. Once you contact us to discuss your event we can provide an accurate cost. We provide reduced rates for Non-Profits please contact us for details.

Deposit

All rentals must be accompanied by a deposit which will be refunded if the hall is in an “as rented” condition at the end of the rental. We may require a larger deposit for certain events based on their size or activity.

Insurance

When renting the Grange Hall you must provide a Certificate of Insurance of least $1,000,000 naming Dows Prairie Grange #505 as “Additionally Insured” for the duration of your event. You may be able to obtain this from your homeowners or business insurance we recommend that you contact your insurance agent. It is also possible to purchase an independent policy online from theeventhelper.com. If you plan to serve Alcohol the Certificate of Insurance must include Alcohol.

Alcohol

If your event is open to the general public (ie. is not a private event) and plans to serve Alcohol you must apply for a CA Department of Alcohol Control (ABC) Daily License.
